About Us

Enjoy an enchanting steam train journey through the delightful Somerset countryside and along the Exmoor coast, whilst enjoying a traditional West Country Cream Tea sponsored by Miles Tea and Coffee.

Start your journey at Bishops Lydeard, departing at 12.40, and travel on a steam train to Minehead, where you can hop off and explore the beautiful seaside town.

Your West Country Cream Tea will then be served on the 14.30 departure from Minehead, in two specially reserved carriages, returning to Bishops Lydeard at 15:52.

Your Steam Teas ticket includes your return travel on the West Somerset Railway, and your locally produced cream tea.

All proceeds from this fundraising event will go towards the work of Somerset Wildlife Trust - safeguarding the county's wildlife and wild places, and encouraging everyone to enjoy and appreciate the natural world around them.
