You can easily submit your own event to our Visit Weston website free of charge using the form below. All you need to do is write a brief bit of text about your event and provide a landscape-shaped image to accompany it..
The image must be in a landscape format, NOT UPRIGHT POSTERS OR PORTRAIT SHAPES. Ideally they should be Jpegs of 1220 x 715 wide although our internal resizer can resize landscape images if they don't exceeed 2MB. Images not submitted in landscape format may be rejected or result in vital event information or artists' heads being chopped off.
Checklist
Image Requirements: Upload a landscape image. Portrait images or posters will be cropped, replaced or may result in your event not being uploaded. Images should ideally be Jpegs and shouldn't exceed 2MB
Event Relevance: Only events within Weston or an hour’s drive will be listed. They must be one-off events, not ongoing activities and be something tourists and visitors to Weston-super-Mare might be interested in attending.
Formatting: Do not submit in ALL CAPS.
Mandatory Fields: Ensure all required fields (*) are completed.
Contact Details: if you have your own website, booking page or phone number include it in the relevant box on the form and we will provide you with a single click link straight to it.
Edits After Submission: Contact us if you need to update your event, as you cannot edit the form after submission.
Visit Weston reserves the right to edit, decline, or exclude events that do not meet these guidelines.

After submitting your event, you will receive an email confirmation and providing it's been accepted it should appear on the Visit Weston website's what's on calendar within 24 hours.
Q: I've heard that only people who have signed up for the Visit Weston partnership scheme can advertise their events. Is that true?
A: No that's not true. Anybody can have their their event publicised within the what's on section of our website providing it is an event that we think visitors might want to attend. But we do offer our Visit Weston partners extra - such as lots of coverage on our social media platforms as well. If you would like to become a partner you would have your own page on our website all year round (linking directly to your own website if you have one) plus your events listings whenever the happen. Q: I run a football club for boys and girls. The girls train every Tuesday night and the boys every Wednesday night. Can I advertise that?
A: Unfortunately not. Regular club nights for sports clubs, bridge clubs, book groups, choirs etc don't fall under our remit of things a tourist would be able to attend on a one-off basis.
Q: I've got my first gig coming up at a pub in Weston. Is that something I could submit?
A: Please do. We would love to hear from you so that we can sing about your debut gig from the rooftops for you, we just might not be able to do it quite as tunefully as you. Best of luck with the gig.
Q: I'm new to all this. I'm holding an event but I'm worried some performers might not turn up and that I might have to cancel it.
A: We know these things happen. If you have to cancel an event for whatever reason, just email us at VIC@wsm-tc.gov.uk to let us know it has been cancelled and we will take it off our website for you. You don't even have to tell us the reason. If it is being postponed to a different date then please let us know and we will promote the new date for you.
