About Us
Come along to Weston Museum to enjoy a family friendly lego workshop on Saturday 31st March and Sunday 1st April led by the team from Gincandescence, who are brilliant with lego building. Maybe the children can create their own pirate scene; with ships, desert islands, buried treasure or even parrots!
Workshops last for one hour at timed slots throughout the day (on both Saturday and Sunday).
Tickets must be bought in advance as numbers are limited. You can do this from Saturday 27th January onwards by popping in to the museum reception or by giving us a call (you can pay by card over the phone) on 01934 62 10 28
Tickets are £3 per child, £5 for 2 children together.
Due to advice from Lego, we are accepting children of age 4 and up (children aged just under 4 can attend too, but only if the parent or carer stays with them to supervise closely. Children under 3 will unfortunately not be able to take part on this occasion, but there is a small play area in the courtyard to help keep them entertained).
Please be aware that adults will need to stay within earshot/sight of children, but are free to enjoy the café by sitting at one of the tables just next to the Learning Space. You might like to enjoy a peaceful cuppa and some home-made cake whilst your children enjoy some lego building!
Whilst you're at the museum, take a spin around the exhibitions and look out for our Iron Age dog, Rusty. Get inspired by our temporary exhibition, The Art of Self Expression, with a focus on beards and tattoos. And keep an eye out here for some more pirate themed children's entertainment during the Easter school holidays.
