Pilates is a gentle form of movement designed to build strength in the smaller stabilising muscles which means the movements are gentle yet powerful. It is great for getting rid of back pain, improving your posture and mobility to improve your sporting performance, and fantastic to rehab injuries. She takes a gentle approach to movement, encouraging you to find ease in how you move, gaining strength whilst you learn about your body and it's patterns - Pilates is for everybody!
Equipment Pilates has taken Jenny from being debilitated from ME/CFS and chronic pain and having to use a wheelchair to go out, to now being a healthy and energetic Pilates Teacher! Jenny has an Equipment studio in Berrow for 1-1s and 2-1s, plus runs some mat classes in the local area. Her main focus is helping people get rid of aches and pains, recovering from surgery or those who want to look after themselves today to live a long & healthy life. She is a qualified comprehensive Polestar Pilates Teacher, training in the Franklin Method and a meditation teacher.
Classes are on a 'Pay what you feel' basis and suitable for those with no recent injuries or chronic conditions, 1-1s are more suitable if you are unable to attend these classes. Booking is advisable to guarantee a space, please bring along a yoga mat if you have one too.
