About Us
Join Atlantic rower Kiko Matthews for a beach clean as she cycles 7200km around the UK coastline on the Kik Plastic tour, building a community against plastic.Meeting at Play Wild (Royal Sands end of the beach) on 25th May at 11am. Some equipment provided but bring gloves and your own litter picker if you have one.
Plastic collected from this beach clean will be given to the Keep Britain Tidy team for their project to build a stage at Glastonbury this year from recycled plastic collected from beach cleans & litter picks.
Children attending the event will be able to Stay & Play at Play Wild after the beach clean for just £1 each. Bring a picnic!
Before you head out, double check the weather forecast and make sure you dress appropriately. In particular, we recommend sturdy, closed shoes (no exposed toes!) and some thick gardening gloves to protect your hands.
In partnership with Plastic Free Weston-Super-Mare.
