About Us
Have your fortune revealed by our Victorian fortune teller and learn about Weston Museum's recent refurbishment project on a guided tour of the galleries and some behind the scenes areas. For this weekend only, there are lots of things to learn about, including both the museum and your own future. The Victorian seaside has a long history of sideshows and performers and in the afternoon between 1pm and 3pm on both days, you can have your fortune revealed by our Victorian fortune teller.
You can also join one of the museum team on a tour around the galleries and to some of the behind the scenes areas that might be included in the second stage of the refurbishment. Tour times to be confirmed, see event listings closer to the date.
Weston Museum has a history that stretches back over a century, but it has recently had a wonderful refurbishment to bring its displays and facilities up to date. With new galleries, a new shop and cafe, as well as new learning, reminiscence and outreach programmes, the museum now has lots to offer. Learn about the history of the museum and see the artifacts that inspired the museum's founder to begin preserving the history of the local area in a way that was accessible to all.
Both the fortune telling activities and guided tours are free, but please be aware that numbers are limited so arrive in good time to avoid disappointment.
