Attention all Witches and wizards! Prepare to dive headfirst into the enchanting realm of Halloween magic with us at Wookey Hole, the home of Halloween. Halloween events run at the weekends from 5th October and then everyday from 26th October to 3rd November to coincide with the Somerset School holidays.
The Witch of Wookey Hole is bringing her best magic to help you get into the spirit of spooky season. But fear not, our Witch prefers to treat children, rather than eat them
Start your adventure with a tour through the great chambers of Wookey Hole Caves, where you'll learn about the legend of the Witch and see where the most delicious cheese you can imagine is matured.
Once out of the caves, everyone can join in the Giant Pumpkin trail and solve a mystery to win Halloween treats for the kids. Next head to the 4D cinema, for a new adventure with the crazy characters of Happy Family: Next Level 4D.
Delve into the mysterious past of Wookey Hole, in our Museum, where you can even handle the bones of some of the surprising creatures who have called the Valley home. Are you brave enough to watch real life footage of divers exploring the darkest, most hidden recesses of underground Wookey Hole in the cave diving exhibit?
The kids then have a chance to let off steam in the giant soft play (and their grown ups have a welcome chance to have a sit down and grab a coffee).
The Halloween adventure continues in the Circus, where you'll enjoy a spooky 30 minute original show, 'Ghost Pirates'. Exclusive to Wookey Hole.
Round off your day in the penny arcade, where some of the vintage contraptions hold the power to send shivers down even the boldest spine. Or, for a dash of friendly competition, challenge your clan to a round of Monster Golf! Loser buys the hot chocolates.
Daily Fancy Dress Competition
The Witch loves it when you come dressed up, and there is a daily best-dressed competition at 2.30 in the Theatre.
