About Us

The spectacular St Margaret's Somerset Hospice charity Santa Abseil at Cheddar Gorge is back for a second year on Saturday 2nd December, 2023 from 08:00am until 4pm.

Sign up now to take on this thrilling aseil challenge, tackling a 60ft drop over the breathtaking views of Cheddar Gorge while dressed as Santa.

It is one of Great Britain's most spectacular natural landmarks and this year there will be two abseil ropes, to give more people a chance to take part and enjoy supporting the hospice, as well as giving you the fun opportunity to abseil next to a friend! Places are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.

No previous abseiling experience is required.

What you will receive

Santa suit

Safety briefing from Cave and Climb

Fundraising support from our Event Team

We can accept 12 people per 30-minute slot, please book onto your preferred time slot.
