Besides the free, fresh air, building sandcastles on the long stretch of sandy beach and generally enjoying the seaside, take yourself off to Weston Museum that's open Tuesday - Saturday and free to enter. Or take a stroll along the beachfront to the base of Worlebury Hill, where a steepish climb will take you to the Iron Age Camp and fort in Weston Woods. If you're up for the fresh air, an hour's walk through the woods will lead you 2 miles north of Weston-super-Mare to Sand Bay and Sand Point. If the walk back is too much, a 20 minute bus ride on the Number One bus will bring you back to the Grand Pier in Weston.
