Coming up this Bank Holiday Weekend it's A Walk Through History - North Somerset Re-enactment Festival, at Court Farm Country ParkHere's a press release from the organisers:
The 2015 event will take place at Court Farm Country Park, Wolvershill Road, Banwell, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, BS29 6DL on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August 2015.
Doors open from 10am. Normal admission charges to Court Farm apply, adults £6.95 and children £5.95 with under 3’s free. Entry includes all the usual facilities of Court Farm, as well as the re-enactment festival.
The event is a multi re-enactment event featuring over a 17 groups living as they did during their eras. During the two days the groups will be putting on displays, battles and inviting the public into their camps to learn about how they lived, dressed, cooked and ate. As well as the groups there are a lot of smaller displays.

The Event is to be an educational, interactive and fun weekend with many chances for the public to learn about the different ages whilst having an enjoyable time. Displays will be carried out during the event with an unusual twist on the Sunday afternoon, where a fantasy battle will take place between groups from different ages!
As well as the day time historic displays there will be entertainment in the evening in the Saloon Bar at Court Farm with live music from Ricky Hunter featuring music from swing and big band era, country and western, 50s 60s rock n roll, Elvis Neil Diamond and many more, plus a children’s dedicated play fort. Entrance for the evening event is £6 for adults and £3 for children aged 16 and under.
