About Us
Vibrant and cultural, Grove Village offers many unique retail boutiques, buzzing cafes and is increasingly being recognised as the cultural, creative and university quarter of Weston-super-Mare – a destination at the northern end of the High Street with a strong focus on culture and leisure.
If you’re looking for a quirky gift, Grove Village is just the place. From gift shops to beauty outlets, retro sweet shops to second hand stores, there’s something here for everyone.
Grove Village is home to the town’s two iconic theatres, The Blakehay Theatre and The Playhouse Theatre which features performances from local groups and entertaining programmes of touring shows including the annual pantomime.
Grove Park is next to Grove Village and is a lovely place to relax and admire the flower displays on a sunny day. Within the park you can find ‘Jill’s garden…' a tribute to TV presenter Jill Dando who came from the town. With a gorgeous Victorian bandstand, café and children’s play area, it can often be a sunny spot for many on fine day. Bandstand concerts take place in the park every Sunday from May to September.
