It's the perfect base to explore the area or simply relax by the tree-lined lake. Burnham's High Street and famous seven-mile long sandy beach are just a short, level walk away with West Country favourites such as Weston-super-Mare, Wells, Bristol, Bath, and Cheddar (to name but a few) all within easy reach by car.

Somerset - aptly named "the jewel of the South West", really does have so much to see and do! Hot air balloon fiestas, Wookey Hole, Clarks Village factory outlet, Brean Leisure Park, Diggerland or the Somerset Levels, Mendip or Quantock Hills and the magnificent Exmoor National Park - home to some of the superb National Trust properties that abound in Somerset. There's something for everyone to enjoy and all so accessible from Lakeside.  Even the Lions of Longleat in neighbouring Wiltshire can be reached within 90 minutes or so by car.

The park offers a wide choice of great, self-catering static caravans from the leading manufacturers. All holiday homes are 12ft wide and sleep up to 8 people - some are that little bit extra special and have double-glazing and gas central heating to make your stay even more enjoyable. There is something to suit everyone's holiday home demands.

Whether you're catching fish in our private lake - Wild, Mirror, Common Carp, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Bream, Pike and Perch are all present - or not, Lakeside delivers an intoxicatingly relaxing setting.
