Pumpkin Fest at the Zoo!
Noah's Ark Zoo Farm is inviting visitors to embrace the magic of autumn with its exciting Pumpkin Fest, starting October 1st. This annual celebration features a variety of fun, educational, and seasonal activities that are perfect for families and little explorers.
What's Happening?
Guests can embark on an interactive journey with the new Scavenger Hunt, following clues around the zoo to uncover fascinating facts about the animals encountered. The "Furs, Feathers, and Fangs" experience offers an educational opportunity to explore and appreciate some of the zoo's more unusual and often overlooked animals.
Every day at 3 pm, visitors can marvel at the zoo's Owls in flight. The dedicated Keepers will be on hand to provide insights into each owl, including a visitor favourite Bella, the Barn Owl!
Accessible Pumpkin Patch
The Farm Shop's accessible pumpkin patch is designed to ensure that everyone can enjoy the fun of selecting their ideal pumpkin. With easy pathways and viewing areas, the patch is inclusive and welcoming to all guests.
In a delightful twist, the pumpkins at the zoo are nurtured with a special ingredient: Elephant and Rhino poo! This natural fertilizer, which originated from an unexpected pumpkin patch growing from the elephants' enrichment program, has contributed to a bountiful pumpkin harvest. What began as a fortunate accident has now become a celebrated tradition in pumpkin farming at the zoo.
The pumpkin patch is free to visit and dog friendly! So even your four legged friend can sniff out the perfect pumpkin!
