Running from 23-27th October Puxton Park is putting on a fright fest of creepy critters throughout the week.
Monday – Fancy Dress Spooky Discos 11am - 12pm and 2pm - 3pm
Tuesday – The Creepy Crawly Show (www.thecreepycrawlyshow.co.uk) 2pm - 3pm, and 3.30pm -4.30pm
A unique and unforgettable experience for all ages attending, as well as being animal enthusiasts all the Creepy Crawly Show presenters have family entertainment backgrounds. Enjoy comedy, music, get me out of here style challenges and don’t forget the animals, with snakes, tarantulas, scorpions, lizards, giant African snails, hissing cockroaches, turtles and much more. it offers great photo opportunities and you'll get the chance to get hands on with some of our amazing creatures
Wednesday – Crocodiles of the World (www.crocodilesoftheworld.co.uk) 12pm-12.45pm, 1pm -1.45pm, 2pm -2.45pm and3pm-3.45pm
A member of the Crocodiles of the World education team visits Puxton Park for a live and interactive experience appropriate for all ages. Seeing the crocodiles up close and outside of the context of the zoo enables you to appreciate the beauty in their form, and the remarkable adaptations they have evolved.
Thursday – Slithering Snakes from our Animal Team – 11.30am and 3.30pm
Our team have an eight-foot Boa Constrictor and a beautiful Rainbow Boa to bring in for the animal shows. They will talk about the natural animal behaviour and habitats, encourage interaction and bust any myths surrounding these amazing giants of the jungle.
Friday – Beautiful bugs from our Animal Team – 11.30am and 3.30pm
Max the Millipede, Dave the Madagascan Hissing Cockroach, the Giant Indian Stick Insects and our African Fruit Beetles all have an important evolutionary role to play. Do you dare handle one?
