About Us
Suitable for all ages over 16 years
Skeletons are so often symbolic of death, that it's easy to lose a true appreciation of the amazing skeleton that supports us in our everyday lives. In culture, skeletons are often characters which admonish and frighten us mortals and it can be hard to separate the unconscious negative feelings which we may layer onto the vision of a skeleton. Taking a light-hearted approach to exploring our incredible skeletal structure, this session will use drawing, writing, meditation and movement to engender curiosity and allow for reflection as we go. We will explore the puzzle pieces of bones and reflect on our own skeleton in a context of gratitude and admiration rather than fear.
